Rocklands Association of Staff, Parents & Friends (ASPF)

Raising funds, raising awareness of our school, and making friends along the way.

Our aim is to raise extra money to enable us to buy additional equipment, resources and exciting experiences for the children at Rocklands School. This year we were pleased to fund:

1. Beautiful floor to ceiling wall murals for the new school library. These were of forest scenes through the seasons featuring popular Characters like the BFG and Winnie the Pooh. This has created a magical and inspiring library for all of the pupils.

2. New audio books and character books for the library.

3. The annual school pantomime.

4. Leavers Hoodies.

5. Easter eggs for all of the children.

We hold regular meetings to discuss fundraising ideas. In the past these have included planning for Summer and Christmas Fayres, Sponsored walks, Raffles, Social Events, Grant applications, Amazon Smile and Clothing Collections. We liaise with the school council and staff to make important decisions on where the money raised should be spent.
