Reading Activities for the week 

 

Daily - read the sight words that Claire sent home.

 

Sit with a parent, carer or other family member and read a story. Handle the book with care, turn the pages, look at the pictures, use the pictures to guess what will happen next and enjoy. 

 

When you are reading with your child, pause, and give them every opportunity to read the sight words that they know. Reading the same words in different books helps the children to become more confident.
